Take the Charge

Have you ever felt any pressure of bringing something to the table? Perhaps an idea, a solution, a significant suggestion. Have you ever had the urge to deliver result, to come up with an idea?

We live today amongst different associations, companies and families, within these groups. There are always going to be decisions to be made, needful suggestions about methodologies, about ways of enhancement of one thing or the other; and usually there are people that are most dependent on to deliver these solutions. So some members of the team are phlegmatic to doing same, they feel no urge, no pressure to deliver solutions and are mostly Okay with it.

If nobody has ever given you a responsibility in your team, don't you think you should give yourself one? You see a pressing need in your team and you feel no drive at all to proffer a solution to it? And you're okay with that?

Perhaps you're scared of been ignored and not regarded serious when you do, perhaps you've stayed too long there without bringing any necessary or valuable contributions that you think it doesn't matter now. I'm telling you now that your team need your suggestions and solutions just as much as they need the team leader's.

There's no time to be just a member anymore who only merely adds to the number of the team, there's more you can offer. Be responsible, make your team need you, make your group want you always. Never give them a reason to ignore you.

There's so much value you can add to your group, but first you've got to add value to yourself. What value or quality do you need to become needed in your team, to become super important to your teammates. Don't ignore responsibility, let the team's problem be your personal problem too, look for solutions to it like you would yours.

The team leader isn't mandatorily the one to bring in solutions always. Any member of the team could, that's why you're called a team, that's the reason for the word 'teammate'.

Don't be comfortable doing nothing. Don't wait till you're begged or informed about problems, always be active and attentive to where problems are coming from or are likely to come from soon. Be active, and proactive.

Take it upon yourself. Take responsibility!
